Been ages since I’ve really properly blogged, since 2 things happened to have pushed me to another phase of life:
- Coming back to Malaysia, after four and a half years of living in Leeds, UK
- Joining the work force
What prompts me to write once more?
Possibly just another form of reflection and penning down my thoughts or observations into writing, instead of letting it slip away through time…
Having worked for a year, the preciousness of time, energy, health and sleep becomes even more apparent.
More than that, the importance of guarding my spiritual walk with zeal and discipline waves like a bright red flag in my life.
So, here goes, perhaps another futile attempt to keeping a blog… =)
For the past two years, this portion of scripture has been the holding power for me personally to not lose hope or faith in my Lord Jesus Christ, and is what this blog will start with:
“Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope: Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning, great is Your faithfulness.
I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion, therefore I will wait for Him.”
The Lord is good to those whose hope is in Him, to the one who seeks Him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord. It is good for a man to bear the yoke while he is young.”
